Hekla Tower Paris - Archistar Jean Nouvel
“An important international project supply for Macrolux from San Vendemiano (TV, Italy), called to supply high quality lighting products for the Hekla tower in Paris, at La Défense district, considered the fourth most attractive business centre in the world.
The building, which will accommodate up to 5,800 people, is a sinuous composition of triangular shapes inspired by the texture of the surrounding urban fabric.
The result of a collective work, the tower aims to be a pioneer in the relationship between work and environment, deeply rebalancing the urban profile of the area.
Few numbers: 220 meters high, 48 floors, 76,000 square meters of offices space, 2,500 square meters of terraces and green loggias, six floors of lobbies, and 48% less emissions; these are just some of the numbers of this ambitious project, signed by the atelier of archistar Jean Nouvel, winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2008. Once completed, it will be the second tallest tower at La Défense district, surpassing the Tour Montparnasse. Construction has been started in 2018 with an expected delivery in 2022 at an estimated cost of 248 million euros.
